David Sleigh

David Sleigh was born in Hanover, New Hampshire. He graduated from Macalester College, and Vermont Law School with honors. He is a graduate of Indiana University’s Borkenstein Course on Alcohol and Highway safety. Prior to joining David Williams in private practice, he worked as a Public Defender in Vermont and Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Mr. Sleigh has tried over a hundred civil and criminal jury trials in several State and Federal jurisdictions. He has successfully argued numerous cases before State and Federal Appellate Courts

He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, American Trial Lawyers Association, and National College of DUI Defense. He has lectured extensively on subjects of trial preparation, DWI Defense and civil liberties.
